Validation of the National AIDS Council Capacity Development Approach and Training of Trainers

Health Focus South Africa validated the national AIDS Council Capacity Development Approach and conducted a training of trainers. This project supported the functionality of subnational AIDS Councils structures (provincial, district and AIDS councils and their secretariats) to effectively and efficiently fulfil their mandates. Focus was on coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the HIV and TB response at provincial and district level, through support to government, civil society sectors and local level. The support was to ensure accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the National Strategic Plan (NSP) for HIV, TB and STIs 2017-2022.
