Issues Paper on Overweight and Obesity in Lesotho: Policy and Programmatic Implications

This innovative project is being implemented by Health Focus GmbH in Germany and Health Focus South Africa in partnership with the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. The main purposes of this project is to conduct a comprehensive landscape analysis on the situation of obesity/overweight across the lifecycle using the latest data and published/unpublished literature; take stock of the key policies, legislations, standards and programs relating to overweight and obesity treatment and prevention; and most importantly, based on the findings make appropriate recommendations on priority policies and actions to effectively prevent overweight and obesity in Lesotho.
